The best of me

I always love a good Nicholas Sparks book, particularly after I've read something dark and heavy. So I was really looking forward to digging into "The Best of Me". I hope I get this book for my Christmas.

THE BEST OF ME is the heart-rending story of two small-town former high school sweethearts from opposite sides of the tracks. Now middle-aged, they've taken wildly divergent paths, but neither has lived the life they imagined . . .  and neither can forget the passionate first love that forever altered their world. When they are both called back to their hometown for the funeral of the mentor who once gave them shelter, they will be forced to confront the choices each has made, and ask whether love can truly rewrite the past.

My Thoughts: Oh come on, you know you have a soft spot for Nicholas Sparks, just like me. I love Nicholas Sparks books. I tend to read them as soon as they come out! Novels are kind of my guilty pleasure… I know I’ll never come away from his novels with an enlightened or deepened view of the world, but I always know I’ll walk away from novels feeling the love from the characters.

Sometimes you have to let go

As the quote says, not all the things will meant for you. NOT everything. When someone comes into your life, God sent them for a reason. Either to learn from them, or to be be with them until the end. Expect the unexpected. That's the way of life should be.

Sometimes even though we feel like we have great plans for our lives with the people that we have in them now, not knowing that God has much bigger plans for us which may not necessarily include the people that are in them now. In order for us to continue in life sometimes we must allow some of our plans including those that we are involved with fall, in order to learn how to become stronger individuals by learning how to be willing to let go.

Not everything in life including our relationships will be something that we will be able to hold on to forever, and this is something that we have to learn to be able to grow and build throughout our whole lifetime. Some people will come in your life, just to teach you how to let go, don't resist, it isn't always about giving up, sometimes it's about learning how to move on.

Taekwondo shuffle

Taekwondo Shuffle? Do you ever heard about this? Only in Korea, maybe. Unique and enjoyable. Martial art combined with dance moves to make a new flavor in dancing. I don't how to say this but it's kind of a new thing for me and different from others. Something different, something new. Take a look at the video below and rate it by yourself.

Is it okay with you? Want to try? Try to make something different. Think to be different. At least they are trying to be different.

Unconditional love

A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home after having fought in Vietnam. He called his parents from San Francisco.

"Mom and Dad, I'm coming home, but I've a favor to ask. I have a friend I'd like to bring home with me"

"Sure," they replied, "we'd love to meet him." "There's something you should know" the son continued:

"He was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land mine and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go, and I want him to come live with us."

"I'm sorry to hear that, son. Maybe we can help him find somewhere to live."

"No, Mom and Dad, I want him to live with us."

"Son," said the father,

"You don't know what you're asking. Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden on us. We have our own lives to live, and we can't let something like this interfere with our lives. I think you should just come home and forget about this guy. He'll find a way to live his own."

At that point, the son hung up the phone. The parents heard nothing more from him. A few a days later, however, they received a call from the San Francisco police.

Their son had died after falling from a building, they were told. The police believed it was suicide. The grief-stricken parents flew to San Francisco and were taken to the city morgue to identify the body of their son.

They recognized him, but to their horror they also discovered something they didn't know. Their son had only one hand and one leg.

Mistletoe

Its the most beautiful time of the year
Lights fill the streets spreading so much cheer
I should be playing in the winter snow
But i'mma be under the mistletoe

I dont wanna miss out on the holiday
But i cant stop staring at your face
I should be playing in the winter snow
But imma be under the mistletoe

With you shawty with you
With you shawty with you
With you under the mistletoe

Everyone's gathering around the fire
Chestnuts roasting like a hot july
I should be chilling with my folks i know
But imma be under the mistletoe

Word on the street santa's coming tonight
Reindeer's flying through the sky so high
I should be making a list i know
But imma be under the mistletoe
With you shawty with you
With you shawty with you
With you under the mistletoe

With you shawty with you
With you shawty with you
With you under the mistletoe

Aye love the wise men followed the star
The way i followed my heart
And it led me to a miracle

Aye love don't you buy me nothing
'cause i am feeling one thing your lips on my lips
Thats a merry merry christmas

Its the most beautiful time of the year
Lights fill the streets spreading so much cheer
I should be playing in the winter snow
But imma be under the mistletoe

I dont wanna miss out on the holiday
But i cant stop staring at your face
I should be playing in the winter snow
But imma be under the mistletoe

With you shawty with you
With you shawty with you
With you under the mistletoe

With you shawty with you
With you shawty with you
With you under the mistletoe under the mistletoe

Kiss me underneath the mistletoe
Show me baby that you love me so-oh-oh
Oh oh ohhh

Kiss me underneath the mistletoe
Show me baby that you love me so-oh-oh
Oh oh ohh

Every ending is a new beginning

It's been a long time since my last post. Every ending is a new beginning and I just finish my study a few days ago. Sad. Happy. Dull. Different feeling coming in and out. With this, I need to open up a new chapter of life. A beginning of something new. Something different. A life of a teacher. Novice teacher to be accurate.

If you don't ever remember anything else in your life, remember this:

NEVER GIVE UP.

Life is what you make it, and even though circumstances may cause you to believe that an end is near, one must believe and keep a positive mindset knowing that a new beginning is actually taking place. When one door is closing in your life, one must believe that God is closing this door in order to open up more doors for him or her in the future.

Though it may seem as though you are down on your luck, and as if life is throwing too challenging of circumstances at you, you must be willing to go toe to toe with them until something happens. Never give up, there are no endings, there are only new beginnings, the only thing in life that can stop you is yourself. Remember to keep your head held high, and to never allow the hope you have inside of you to die.
I will never give up. This is my life. The path that I already choose from beginning. I don't want to running away like coward. I will try my best to educate people.

Last paper

Few more hours. Calm. You can do it. That's the magic word that I always use to make myself calm. Maybe... Can't guarantee at all at least it works for me. Application in Mathematics, one of the tough paper that I ever sit for examination. Syllabus taken from different university and combined it to be one subject for a future teacher. Are they out of their mind?

Before implement something like this, they should try it by themselves. So that, they know how difficult this paper could be. It's too late to say that. Right now, in front of my laptop and studying this stuff really killing me. Thanks to God because He helps me a lot.

This will my last paper for my first ever Degree. Happy and sad. I'm leaving the college sooner or later. All the best.

The best is yet to come

She was dying. Her life was measured not in years…or months…but in weeks and days. She called the minister to her home to make her final preparations.

As they talked of her funeral, she listed the scriptures she wanted read and the hymns she wanted sung.

The the lady said to the minister, ”When I’m placed in my casket I want you to put a fork in my hand.” Noticing the puzzled look on the minister’s face, she asked if anything was wrong. ”Oh, no,” he replied, ”but it’s the first time anyone has made such an unusual request.”

So the lady began to explain. ”All my life I have attended church dinners and fellowships. Whenever we finished the meal, someone would come to collect the dishes and say, ‘Keep your fork.’

I knew what this meant. The best was yet to come. There would be apple pie or chocolate cake or some other delicacy. And I know for me, the best is yet to come. My death is not a time of sadness but of celebration. So I want to have a fork put in my hand. You can tell the people why in your message.

The lady died. The minister meticulously followed her instructions. Everyone who passed the casket saw the fork in her hand, and everyone wondered, ”Why”

The scripture was read, the hymns were sung, the message was given and the story was told. Then everyone knew the reason for the fork and understood the amazing picture it portrayed.

I think I might like to be buried with a fork in my hand. The best is yet to come. Eternity… the Savior… Heaven. And the best is yet to come even now… God’s deepening grace… His powerful Presence… the smile of His approval.

Always keep a fork in your hand…not literally, but spiritually and mentally…and look for the best… now… and yet to come!

P/S: Greater confidence, higher life satisfaction and increased emotional wisdom. As we grow older there’s every reason to believe that the best is yet to come.

One down two more to go

Good day readers. It's examination mood and few more days to go before leaving IPG Kampus Gaya. Not forever but for awhile. Just recently finished my first paper for this term. One down two more to go. Yesterday paper, Asas Kepimpinan dan Perkembangan Profesional Guru, will be history and today paper, Guru dan Cabaran Semasa, gonna be challenging. Not well prepared. But, I will try my best.

If I want to follow my heart, I really want to lay on my bed right now. Like in Bruno Mars's 'Lazy Song'

Today I don't feel like doing anything
I just wanna lay in my bed
Don't feel like picking up my phone, so leave a message at the tone
'Cause today I swear I'm not doing anything

But after today paper, upcoming Monday will be my last paper. Right after that I need to focus on KISSM and SPP.

Experience life

You put a lot of energy and effort into living. So on a regular basis, take time to fully experience your life and the world in which you live.

Spend some time that has no purpose other than to take in all the richness of which you're a part. Let go, for a while, of the need to analyze, to criticize, to judge and react.

Allow your thoughts to be still. Feel the wonder, the goodness, the beauty of simply being, and knowing that you are.

Experience life, not in order to gain any advantage or to impress someone. Experience life because the depth of its richness has no limit.

The more fully you experience and appreciate life, the more you'll find yourself needing less and having more. Experience life, and you'll clearly see how truly rich you already are.

Life is a gift so precious that it has no equal.
Experience life, and give that gift to yourself and others.

P/S: Road of life not always be straight. So, keep on smiling and try to against any obstacles that coming to you.

Life is...

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.

Just around the corner

Hello reader. It's kinda bored right now. Nothing to do. But examination just around the corner. Still face the book. I mean Facebook not the real academic book. It's totally nonsense at all. I don't really have the mood to study.

Nobody woke me up today. As usual woke up around 6.30 am. But I slept around 4 o'clock in the morning. Playing games without knowing the time. Straight away go to bathroom and took simple breakfast, Tic Tac Chocolate and plain water. Continue playing games up until 2.00 pm. Cook some instant noodles for my lunch. Then laying on the bed and sleep.

Woke up around 6.00 pm and wondering about something. "When will I start to study?" A big question mark. This things drive me crazy. Totally unknown and blur. Examination just around the corner. Oh, my God!

“Life is never boring, but some people choose to be bored.”

To all who try to find love

If you find yourself in love
with someone
and that someone does not love you
be gentle to yourself
there is nothing wrong with you
love just did not choose to rest in that someone's heart

If you find someone
in love with you
and you can not answer that love
feel honored that
love came by and called on your door
but gently refuse the feeling you cannot return
as love did not choose to settle in your heart

If you find yourself in love with someone
and the love returned
it still can happen that love choose to leave
do not try to reclaim it and do not asses any blame
let it go
despite the paint
there is a reason and meaning to this...

You cannot choose love by yourself
LOVE CHOOSES YOU

May all your dreams come true

"May all your dreams come true(even the ones they laughed at)."

One lesson that we must all learn in life is that there are going to be people in our lives and in the world period who just won't understand our dreams, and won't understand the goals that we set for ourselves in life. While some won't understand, some will refuse to understand as well, some will mock you, and some will try to talk you out of going for a dream that is just "too big" for you to accomplish, in their opinion.

The truth is, if your dreams don't scare you, then they probably aren't big enough dreams that you have set for yourself. We have to have strong faith in what burns inside of our hearts, and we must also hold to the fact that with God's grace, and with a strong undetermined will, nothing can stop us from being where we want, and know we should be in life, no matter how much negativity we receive from people in our lives.

P/S: But you need to put some effort to make your dreams come true.  As long as you want it, go for it. Don't give up without trying.

10 Secrets

The FIRST secret - the power of THOUGHT. Love begins with our thoughts. We become what we think about. Loving thoughts create loving experiences and loving relationships. Affirmations can change our beliefs and thoughts about others and ourselves. If we want to love someone, we need to consider his or her needs and desires. Thinking about your ideal partner will help you recognise her when you meet her.

The SECOND secret - the power of RESPECT. You cannot love anyone or anything unless you first respect them. The first person you need to respect is yourself. To begin to gain self-respect, ask yourself, What do I respect about myself? - To gain respect for others, even those you may dislike, ask yourself, What do I respect about them

The THIRD secret - the power of GIVING. If you want to receive love, all you have to do is give it! The more love you give, the more you will receive. To love is to give of yourself, freely and unconditionally. Practice random acts of kindness. Before committing to a relationship ask not what the other person will be able to give to you, but rather what will you be able to give them. The secret formula of a happy, lifelong, loving relationship is to always focus on what you can give instead of what you can take.

The FOURTH secret - the power of FRIENDSHIP. To find a true love, you must first find a true friend. Love does not consist of gazing into each other"s eyes, but rather looking outward together in the same direction. To love someone completely you must love him or her for who they are and not for what they look like. Friendship is the soil through which love seeds grow. If you want to bring love into a relationship, you must first bring friendship.

The FIFTH secret - the power of TOUCH. Touch is one of the most powerful expressions of love, breaking down barriers and bonding relationships. Touch changes our physical and emotional states and makes us more receptive to love.

The SIXTH secret - the power of LETTING GO. If you love something, let it free. If it comes back to you, it's yours, if it doesn't, it never was. Even in a loving relationship, people need their own space. If we want to learn to love, we must first learn to forgive and let go of past hurts and grievances. Love means letting go of our fears, prejudices, egos and conditions. Today I let go of all my fears, the past has no power over me - today is the beginning of a new life.

The SEVENTH secret - the power of COMMUNICATION. When we learn to communicate openly and honestly, life changes. To love someone is to communicate with them. Let the people you love know that you love them and appreciate them. Never be afraid to say those three magic words: I Love You Never let an opportunity pass to praise someone. Always leave someone you love with a loving word - it could be the last time you see him or her. If you were about to die but could make telephone calls to the people you loved, who would you call, what would you say and .. why are you waiting?

The EIGHTH secret - the power of COMMITMENT. If you want to have love in abundance, you must be committed to it, and that commitment will be reflected in your thoughts and actions. Commitment is the TRUE test of love. If you want to have loving relationships, you must be committed to loving relationships. When you are committed to someone or something, quitting is never an option. Commitment distinguishes a fragile relationship from a strong one.

The NINTH secret - the power of PASSION. Passion ignites love and keeps it alive. Lasting passion does not come through physical attraction alone; it comes from deep commitment, enthusiasm, interest and excitement. Passion can be recreated by recreating past experiences. When you felt passionate spontaneity and surprises produce passion. The essence of love and happiness are the same; all we need to do is to live each day with passion.

The TENTH secret - the power of TRUST. Trust is essential in all loving relationships. Without it one person becomes suspicious, anxious and fearful and the other person feels trapped and emotionally suffocated. You cannot love someone completely unless you trust him or her completely. Act as if your relationship with the person you love will never end. One of the ways you can tell whether a person is right for you is to ask yourself, . Do I trust them completely and unreservedly? - If the answer is no -, think carefully before making a commitment.
