Take a good look around you

Take a good look around you. Before you complain about how bad or screwed up your life is, take a step back and look around. You've got people that genuinely care about you and you have all the basic necessities provided... food, clothing, shelter. Things could be worse. Things don't always go your way and things aren't always perfect but that doesn't mean your life sucks. Appreciate what you do have.

Experience life

You put a lot of energy and effort into living. So on a regular basis, take time to fully experience your life and the world in which you live.

Spend some time that has no purpose other than to take in all the richness of which you're a part. Let go, for a while, of the need to analyze, to criticize, to judge and react.

Allow your thoughts to be still. Feel the wonder, the goodness, the beauty of simply being, and knowing that you are.

Experience life, not in order to gain any advantage or to impress someone. Experience life because the depth of its richness has no limit.

The more fully you experience and appreciate life, the more you'll find yourself needing less and having more. Experience life, and you'll clearly see how truly rich you already are.

Life is a gift so precious that it has no equal.
Experience life, and give that gift to yourself and others.

P/S: Road of life not always be straight. So, keep on smiling and try to against any obstacles that coming to you.

10 Secrets

The FIRST secret - the power of THOUGHT. Love begins with our thoughts. We become what we think about. Loving thoughts create loving experiences and loving relationships. Affirmations can change our beliefs and thoughts about others and ourselves. If we want to love someone, we need to consider his or her needs and desires. Thinking about your ideal partner will help you recognise her when you meet her.

The SECOND secret - the power of RESPECT. You cannot love anyone or anything unless you first respect them. The first person you need to respect is yourself. To begin to gain self-respect, ask yourself, What do I respect about myself? - To gain respect for others, even those you may dislike, ask yourself, What do I respect about them

The THIRD secret - the power of GIVING. If you want to receive love, all you have to do is give it! The more love you give, the more you will receive. To love is to give of yourself, freely and unconditionally. Practice random acts of kindness. Before committing to a relationship ask not what the other person will be able to give to you, but rather what will you be able to give them. The secret formula of a happy, lifelong, loving relationship is to always focus on what you can give instead of what you can take.

The FOURTH secret - the power of FRIENDSHIP. To find a true love, you must first find a true friend. Love does not consist of gazing into each other"s eyes, but rather looking outward together in the same direction. To love someone completely you must love him or her for who they are and not for what they look like. Friendship is the soil through which love seeds grow. If you want to bring love into a relationship, you must first bring friendship.

The FIFTH secret - the power of TOUCH. Touch is one of the most powerful expressions of love, breaking down barriers and bonding relationships. Touch changes our physical and emotional states and makes us more receptive to love.

The SIXTH secret - the power of LETTING GO. If you love something, let it free. If it comes back to you, it's yours, if it doesn't, it never was. Even in a loving relationship, people need their own space. If we want to learn to love, we must first learn to forgive and let go of past hurts and grievances. Love means letting go of our fears, prejudices, egos and conditions. Today I let go of all my fears, the past has no power over me - today is the beginning of a new life.

The SEVENTH secret - the power of COMMUNICATION. When we learn to communicate openly and honestly, life changes. To love someone is to communicate with them. Let the people you love know that you love them and appreciate them. Never be afraid to say those three magic words: I Love You Never let an opportunity pass to praise someone. Always leave someone you love with a loving word - it could be the last time you see him or her. If you were about to die but could make telephone calls to the people you loved, who would you call, what would you say and .. why are you waiting?

The EIGHTH secret - the power of COMMITMENT. If you want to have love in abundance, you must be committed to it, and that commitment will be reflected in your thoughts and actions. Commitment is the TRUE test of love. If you want to have loving relationships, you must be committed to loving relationships. When you are committed to someone or something, quitting is never an option. Commitment distinguishes a fragile relationship from a strong one.

The NINTH secret - the power of PASSION. Passion ignites love and keeps it alive. Lasting passion does not come through physical attraction alone; it comes from deep commitment, enthusiasm, interest and excitement. Passion can be recreated by recreating past experiences. When you felt passionate spontaneity and surprises produce passion. The essence of love and happiness are the same; all we need to do is to live each day with passion.

The TENTH secret - the power of TRUST. Trust is essential in all loving relationships. Without it one person becomes suspicious, anxious and fearful and the other person feels trapped and emotionally suffocated. You cannot love someone completely unless you trust him or her completely. Act as if your relationship with the person you love will never end. One of the ways you can tell whether a person is right for you is to ask yourself, . Do I trust them completely and unreservedly? - If the answer is no -, think carefully before making a commitment.

11 hints

It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return, but what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel.

A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

Don't go for looks; they can be deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it only takes a smile to make a dark day seem bright.

Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be; because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to.

Always put yourself in the others shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the other too.
A careless word may kindle strife; a cruel word may wreck a life; a timely word may level stress; a loving word may heal and bless.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live life so that when you die...you are the one smiling and everyone around you is crying..

Always remember - Life is precious, don't let it slip by...

5 simple rules

God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

Disappointments are like road humps, they slow you down a bit but you enjoy the smooth road afterwards. Don't stay on the humps too long. Move on!

When you feel down because you didn't get what you want, just sit tight and be happy, because God is thinking of something better to give you.

When something happens to you, good or bad, consider what it means. There's a purpose to life's events, to teach you how to laugh more or not to cry too hard.

You can't make someone love you, all you can do is be someone who can be loved, the rest is up to the person to realize your worth.

The measure of love is when you love without measure. In life there are very rare chances that you'll meet the person you love and loves you in return. So once you have it don't ever let go, the chance might never come your way again.

It's better to lose your pride to the one you love, than to lose the one you love because of pride.

We spend too much time looking for the right person to love or finding fault with those we already love, when instead we should be perfecting the love we give.

When you truly care for someone, you don't look for faults, you don't look for answers, you don't look for mistakes. Instead, you fight the mistakes, you accept the faults, and you overlook the excuses.

Never abandon an old friend. You will never find one who can take his place. Friendship is like wine, it gets better as it grows older.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.

No one can go back and make a brand new start. Anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.

2 choices to spend your time that leads you to success or failure?

What you spent most of your time will shape you entire life.

People spend most of the time for working and sleeping, right? But we are not going to talk about that. We're going to talk about how we spend most of our time. You already know that if you want to be successful, you have to spend your time mostly on something that can lead to success. The easy and simple way is modeling the people who have already got what you want. Simply ask yourself, how they spend their time? Are they doing something productive or doing something useless?

What I particularly want to talk about is not how much time you spend to do something, but rather what are you going to do with the time you have. There are only two choice you can make. Successful people take one choice and others take another choice.

Let's say you have leisure time or free time where you have nothing to do. As I said before, you have two choices to shape your life in the future.

Your free time can be spent in two ways:

  • You can do things that are bad for you. It means that you do things that lead you away from success.
  • You can do things that are good for you. It means that you do things that lead you closer to success.

You can spend your time in unproductive activities such as daydreaming, sleeping, watching TV too much, playing around, talking about gossip etc. This type of activity is worthless for you. Even though playing or refreshing is recommended, sometimes people are doing it too much, too much playing, to much watching, to much playing. If you spend too much time for it, when do you have the time to do things that are positive?

You can spend your time in productive activities that expand yourself better and better. It is called self improvement. You can read motivational or inspirational books, attending seminars or workshops, doing activities that are both enjoyable and uplifting, doing a part-time job or business and on and on. When you spend some of your free time to improve yourself, you will one day improve you life.

Successful people sacrifice their leisure time to do things that other people won't. What sacrifice will you be willing to make?

You Have The Power To Dream Your Life

Everyone, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, somebody big. Who hasn't fantasized about being the one who hits the game-winning homer? Who hasn't dreamed of being the homecoming queen? And how many times have we dreamed of being rich, or successful, or happy with our relationships?

Often, we dream big dreams and have great aspirations. Unfortunately, our dreams remain just that – dreams. And our aspirations easily collect dust in our attic.

This is a sad turn of events in our life. Instead of experiencing exciting adventures in self actualization, we get caught up in the humdrum of living from day-to-day just barely existing.

But you know what? Life could be so much better, if only we learned to aim higher.

The most common problem to setting goals is the word impossible. Most people get hung up thinking I can't do this. It's too hard. It's too impossible. No one can do this.

However, if everyone thought that, there would be no inventions, no innovations, and no breakthroughs in human accomplishment.

Remember that scientists were baffled when they took a look at the humble bumblebee. Theoretically, they said, it was impossible for the bumblebee to fly. Unfortunately for the bumble, bee no one has told it so. So fly it does.

On the other hand, some people suffer from dreaming totally outrageous dreams and not acting on them. The result? Broken dreams, and tattered aspirations.

If you limit yourself with self-doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will never be able to break past what you deem impossible. If you reach too far out into the sky without working towards your goal, you will find yourself clinging on to the impossible dream.

Try this exercise. Take a piece of paper and write down some goals in your life. Under one header, list down things ‘you know you can do’. Under another header, write the things ‘you might be able to do.’ And under one more, list the things that that are ‘impossible for you to do.

Now look at all the headers strive every day to accomplish the goals that are under things ‘you know you can do’. Check them when you are able to accomplish them. As you slowly are able to check all of your goals under that heading, try accomplishing the goals under the other header-the one that reads ‘you might be able to do.’

As of the items you wrote under things I could do are accomplished, you can move the goals that are under things that are ‘impossible for you to do’ to the list of things ‘you might be able to do.

As you iterate through this process, you will find out that the goals you thought were impossible become easier to accomplish. And the impossible begin to seem possible after all.

You see, the technique here is not to limit your imagination. It is to aim high, and start working towards that goal little by little. However, it also is unwise to set a goal that is truly unrealistic.

Those who just dream towards a goal without working hard end up disappointed and disillusioned.

On the other hand, if you told someone a hundred years ago that it was possible for man to be on the moon, they would laugh at you. If you had told them that you could send mail from here to the other side of the world in a few seconds, they would say you were out of your mind. But, through sheer desire and perseverance, these impossible dreams are now realities.

Thomas Edison once said that genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. Nothing could be truer. For one to accomplish his or her dreams, there has to be had work and discipline. But take note that that 1% has to be a think-big dream, and not some easily accomplished one.

Ask any gym rat and he or she will tell you that there can be no gains unless you are put out of your comfort zone. Remember the saying, “No pain, no gain”? That is as true as it can be.

So dream on, friend! Don’t get caught up with your perceived limitations. Think big and work hard to attain those dreams. As you step up the ladder of progress, you will just about find out that the impossible has just become a little bit more possible.

Happiness

Happiness isn’t about ‘me’: You can put yourself in positions where happiness lies – like gardening, for instance- but the act becomes about doing it for someone else. You garden to take care of the plants – not for the plants to make you a winner at horticulture.

Have something to prove: Be good at what you do best – figure out what you love, what you’re best at, and do it. Enjoy the very human process – it may take time, but at least you’ll have fun doing it.

Real happiness: a full laundry room can symbolize a full life surrounded by people with whom you are active and busy. Enjoy where you are now .

The take-away lesson: Nothing is perfect – happiness is playing, working and loving – and loving is the most important.

Are you still complaining?

If you think you are unhappy, look at them:

If you think your salary is low, how about her?

If you think you don't have many friends...

When you feel like giving up, think of this man..

If you think you suffer in life , do you suffer as much as he does?

If you complain about your transport system, how about them?

If your society is unfair to you, how about her?

Are you still complaining?

Observe around you and be thankful for all that you have in this transitory life time..

We are fortunate, we have much more than what we need to be content. Let's try not to feed this endless cycle of consumerism and immorality in which this "modern and advanced" society forgets and ignores the other two thirds of our brothers and sisters.

I'm only human

Do I get jealous?
Yes.

Do I cry randomly?
Yes.

Do I get angry?
Yes.

Do I cry myself to sleep?
Yes.

Do I miss you every second you're gone?
Yes.

Do I feel lonely at times?
Yes.

Do I need you?
Yes.

Do I need someone to talk to you?
Yes.

Do I like to be left alone sometimes?
Yes.

Do I need a daily hug?
Yes.

Do I love someone?
Yes.

Do I get hungry and thirsty?
Yes.

Do I have feelings?
Yes.

Do I get hurt?
Yes.

Do I fight?
Yes.

I'm only human.

P/S: Just be yourself. Nobody is perfect, and that's part of the beauty of being human. Hopefully, as we travel along on life's journey, we become increasingly brave about exploring who we really are and can enjoy sustained, robust, excellent mental health. As I said "I'm only human".

Simple Equation of Life

I have come to know about a marvellous equation and I want to share it with you all.

The equation, I’m talking about is as follows –

E + R = O

Where, E stands for external experiences of our lives,
R defines the responsiveness or the reaction of the person who is experiencing the situations, and
O stands for the outcome.

So, what’s the actual message of this equation?

I explain. The outcome of any situation or incident you face in your life that is totally dependent on your thinking pattern or your thought process or the responsiveness to that situation. So, from this very moment what incidents you will face, make it sure that always react positively and find opportunity in every situation.

“It’s not what’s happening to you now or what has happened in your past that determines who you become. Rather it’s your decisions about what to focus on, what things mean to you and what you are going to do about them that will determine your ultimate destiny.”

Learn to move on

A wise man once sat in the audience and cracked a joke.

All laughed like crazy. After a moment he cracked the same joke again and a little less people laughed this time.

He cracked the same joke again and again, when there was no laughter in the crowd, he smiled and said,

“When you can’t laugh on the same joke again and again, then why do you keep crying over the same thing over and over again”

‘Learn to move on’…

Cheers and Have A Nice Day!!!!

P/S: It's not really just for me but anyone out there. Learn to move on when something doesn't suit you well. Don't waste your time to something that really not yours anymore.

Faith, Trust and Hope

Once, all villagers decided to pray for rain, on the day of prayer all people gathered and only one boy came with an umbrella.

"THAT'S FAITH"

Example of the feeling of a one year old baby. When you throw him in the air, he laughs because he knows you will catch him.

"THAT'S TRUST"

Every night we go to bed, we have no assurance to wake up alive the next morning but still we set alarm for tomorrow.

"THAT'S HOPE"

You can

Do all the good you can,
by all the means you can,
in all the ways you can,
in all the places you can,
at all the times you can,
to all people you can,
as long as ever you can.

Throw your heart

Life is a great obstacle course,
with bends and turn, wins and losses.
When you get to the high jump,
always remember to throw your heart
over the bar - and the rest will follow.

Find as you look

You will find as you look
back upon your life
that the moment when
you have really lived,
are the moments when
you have done things
in a spirit of love.

A smile

Few things in the world
are more powerful
than a positive push.
A smile.
A word of optimism and hope.
A "you can do it"
when things are tough.

Seven wonders of life

A group of students were asked to list what they thought were the present "Seven Wonders of The World." Though there were some disagreements, the following received the most votes:

1. Great Pyramid
2. Taj Mahal
3. Grand Canyon
4. Panama Canal
5. Empire State Building
6. St. Peter's Basilica
7. China's Great Wall

While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one student had not finished her paper yet. So, she asked the girl if she was having trouble with her list. The girl replied, "Yes, a little. I couldn't quite make up my mind because there were so many."

The teacher said, "Well, tell us what you have, and maybe we can help."

The girl hesitated, then read, "I think the Seven Wonders of The World are:

To see

To hear

To touch

To taste

To feel

To laugh

To love

The room was quiet you could heard a pin drop. The things we overlook as simple and ordinary and that we take for granted are truly wondrous! A gentle reminder - that the most precious things in life cannot be built by hand or bought by man.
