You Have The Power To Dream Your Life

Everyone, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, somebody big. Who hasn't fantasized about being the one who hits the game-winning homer? Who hasn't dreamed of being the homecoming queen? And how many times have we dreamed of being rich, or successful, or happy with our relationships?

Often, we dream big dreams and have great aspirations. Unfortunately, our dreams remain just that – dreams. And our aspirations easily collect dust in our attic.

This is a sad turn of events in our life. Instead of experiencing exciting adventures in self actualization, we get caught up in the humdrum of living from day-to-day just barely existing.

But you know what? Life could be so much better, if only we learned to aim higher.

The most common problem to setting goals is the word impossible. Most people get hung up thinking I can't do this. It's too hard. It's too impossible. No one can do this.

However, if everyone thought that, there would be no inventions, no innovations, and no breakthroughs in human accomplishment.

Remember that scientists were baffled when they took a look at the humble bumblebee. Theoretically, they said, it was impossible for the bumblebee to fly. Unfortunately for the bumble, bee no one has told it so. So fly it does.

On the other hand, some people suffer from dreaming totally outrageous dreams and not acting on them. The result? Broken dreams, and tattered aspirations.

If you limit yourself with self-doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will never be able to break past what you deem impossible. If you reach too far out into the sky without working towards your goal, you will find yourself clinging on to the impossible dream.

Try this exercise. Take a piece of paper and write down some goals in your life. Under one header, list down things ‘you know you can do’. Under another header, write the things ‘you might be able to do.’ And under one more, list the things that that are ‘impossible for you to do.

Now look at all the headers strive every day to accomplish the goals that are under things ‘you know you can do’. Check them when you are able to accomplish them. As you slowly are able to check all of your goals under that heading, try accomplishing the goals under the other header-the one that reads ‘you might be able to do.’

As of the items you wrote under things I could do are accomplished, you can move the goals that are under things that are ‘impossible for you to do’ to the list of things ‘you might be able to do.

As you iterate through this process, you will find out that the goals you thought were impossible become easier to accomplish. And the impossible begin to seem possible after all.

You see, the technique here is not to limit your imagination. It is to aim high, and start working towards that goal little by little. However, it also is unwise to set a goal that is truly unrealistic.

Those who just dream towards a goal without working hard end up disappointed and disillusioned.

On the other hand, if you told someone a hundred years ago that it was possible for man to be on the moon, they would laugh at you. If you had told them that you could send mail from here to the other side of the world in a few seconds, they would say you were out of your mind. But, through sheer desire and perseverance, these impossible dreams are now realities.

Thomas Edison once said that genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. Nothing could be truer. For one to accomplish his or her dreams, there has to be had work and discipline. But take note that that 1% has to be a think-big dream, and not some easily accomplished one.

Ask any gym rat and he or she will tell you that there can be no gains unless you are put out of your comfort zone. Remember the saying, “No pain, no gain”? That is as true as it can be.

So dream on, friend! Don’t get caught up with your perceived limitations. Think big and work hard to attain those dreams. As you step up the ladder of progress, you will just about find out that the impossible has just become a little bit more possible.

Happiness

Happiness isn’t about ‘me’: You can put yourself in positions where happiness lies – like gardening, for instance- but the act becomes about doing it for someone else. You garden to take care of the plants – not for the plants to make you a winner at horticulture.

Have something to prove: Be good at what you do best – figure out what you love, what you’re best at, and do it. Enjoy the very human process – it may take time, but at least you’ll have fun doing it.

Real happiness: a full laundry room can symbolize a full life surrounded by people with whom you are active and busy. Enjoy where you are now .

The take-away lesson: Nothing is perfect – happiness is playing, working and loving – and loving is the most important.

Endless love

From the very beginning, the girl's family objected strongly on her dating this guy. Saying that it has got to do with family background,& that the girl will have to suffer for the rest of her life if she were to be with him.

Due to family's pressure, the couple quarrel very often. Though the girl love the guy deeply, but she always ask him:

"How deep is your love for me?"

As the guy is not good with his words, this often cause the girl to be very upset. With that & the family's pressure, the girl often vent her anger on him. As for him, he only endure it in silence. After a couple of years, the guy finally graduated & decided to further his studies in overseas. Before leaving, he proposed to the girl:

"I'm not very good with words. But all I know is that I love you. If you allow me, I will take care of you for the rest of my life. As for your family, I'll try my best to talk them round. Will you marry me?"

The girl agreed and with the guy's determination, the family finally gave in & agreed to let them get married. So before he leave, they got engaged.

The girl went out to the working society, whereas the guy was overseas, continuing his studies. They sent their love through emails & phone calls. Though it's hard, but both never thought of giving up. One day, while the girl was on her way to work, she was knocked down by a car that lost control. When she woke up, she saw her parents beside her bed. She realised that she was badly injured. Seeing her mum crying, she wanted to comfort her. But she realized that all that could come out of her mouth was just a sigh. She has lost her voice......

The doctors says that the impact on her brain has caused her to lose her voice. Listening to her parents' comfort, but with nothing coming out from her, she broke down.

During the stay in hospital, besides silence cry,... it's still just silence cry that accompanied her. Upon reaching home, everything seems to be the same. Except for the ringing tone of the phone. Which pierced into her heart every time it rang. She does not wish to let the guy know. and not wanting to be a burden to him, she wrote a letter to him saying that she does not wish to wait any longer.

With that, she sent the ring back to him. In return, the guy sent millions and millions of reply, and countless of phone-calls,.. all the girl could do, besides crying, is still crying... The parents decided to move away, hoping that she could eventually forget everything and be happy.

With a new environment, the girl learn sign language and started a new life. Telling herself everyday that she must forget the guy. One day, her friend came and told her that he's back. She asked her friend not to let him know what happened to her. Since then, there wasn't anymore news of him.

A year has passed and her friend came with an envelope, containing an invitation card for the guy's wedding. The girl was shattered. When she open the letter, she saw her name in it instead.

When she was about to ask her friend what's going on, she saw the guy standing in front of her. He used sign language telling her:

"I've spent a year's time to learn sign language. Just to let you know that I've not forgotten our promise. Let me have the chance to be your voice. I Love You".

With that, he slipped the ring back into her finger. The girl finally smiled.

Your action can change a person's life

One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle. It looked like he was carrying all of his books. I thought to myself, "Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd."

I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on.

As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him. He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes.

My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him and as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye. As I handed him his glasses, I said, "Those guys are jerks. They really should get lives." He looked at me and said, "Hey thanks!" There was a big smile on his face.

It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude.

I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived. As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before. He said he had gone to private school before now.

I would have never hung out with a private school kid before. We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books. He turned out to be a pretty cool kid. I asked him if he wanted to play a little football with my friends. He said yes. We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him.

Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again. I stopped him and said, "Boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!" He just laughed and handed me half the books.

Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends. When we were seniors, we began to think about college. Kyle decided on Georgetown, and I was going to Duke. I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem. He was going to be a doctor, and I was going for business on a football scholarship.

Kyle was valedictorian of our class. I teased him all the time about being a nerd. He had to prepare a speech for graduation.

I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak. Graduation day, I saw Kyle. He looked great. He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school. He filled out and actually looked good in glasses. He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him. Boy, sometimes I was jealous.

Today was one of those days. I could see that he was nervous about his speech. So, I smacked him on the back and said, "Hey, big guy, you'll be great!" He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled. "Thanks," he said.

As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began. "Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach...but mostly your friends. I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them. I am going to tell you a story."

I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the story of the first day we met. He had planned to kill himself over the weekend. He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home.

He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile.

"Thankfully, I was saved. My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable."

I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment.

I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile. Not until that moment did I realize it's depth.

Never underestimate the power of your actions. With one small gesture you can change a person's life. For better or for worse.

God puts us all in each others lives to impact one another in some way. Look for God in others.

Are you still complaining?

If you think you are unhappy, look at them:

If you think your salary is low, how about her?

If you think you don't have many friends...

When you feel like giving up, think of this man..

If you think you suffer in life , do you suffer as much as he does?

If you complain about your transport system, how about them?

If your society is unfair to you, how about her?

Are you still complaining?

Observe around you and be thankful for all that you have in this transitory life time..

We are fortunate, we have much more than what we need to be content. Let's try not to feed this endless cycle of consumerism and immorality in which this "modern and advanced" society forgets and ignores the other two thirds of our brothers and sisters.

I'm only human

Do I get jealous?
Yes.

Do I cry randomly?
Yes.

Do I get angry?
Yes.

Do I cry myself to sleep?
Yes.

Do I miss you every second you're gone?
Yes.

Do I feel lonely at times?
Yes.

Do I need you?
Yes.

Do I need someone to talk to you?
Yes.

Do I like to be left alone sometimes?
Yes.

Do I need a daily hug?
Yes.

Do I love someone?
Yes.

Do I get hungry and thirsty?
Yes.

Do I have feelings?
Yes.

Do I get hurt?
Yes.

Do I fight?
Yes.

I'm only human.

P/S: Just be yourself. Nobody is perfect, and that's part of the beauty of being human. Hopefully, as we travel along on life's journey, we become increasingly brave about exploring who we really are and can enjoy sustained, robust, excellent mental health. As I said "I'm only human".

Scout: Be prepared

It's Thursday. Means that I need to pack my belongings. Not all because this is my final semester. So, no need to bring a lot of stuff to the hostel. Is it too early? It's true. But I need to attend a scout camping. I must get the wood badge. I did put a lot off effort to go this far. Why wasting my time and money if I couldn't pass the last obstacles with flying colours?

"Be Prepared."

That's the motto of the Scouts.

"Be prepared for what?" someone once asked Baden-Powell, the founder of Scouting,

"Why, for any old thing." said Baden-Powell.

The training you receive in your troop will help you live up to the Scout motto. When someone has an accident, you are prepared because of your first aid instruction. Because of lifesaving practice, you might be able to save a non-swimmer who has fallen into deep water.

But Baden-Powell wasn't thinking just of being ready for emergencies. His idea was that all Scouts should prepare themselves to become productive citizens and to give happiness to other people. He wanted each Scout to be ready in mind and body for any struggles, and to meet with a strong heart whatever challenges might lie ahead.

Be prepared for life - to live happily and without regret, knowing that you have done your best. That's what the Scout motto means.

So, wish me luck and all the best to my fellow friends. Hey, what should I pack? I wonder. Nah, forget it. Hutan Lipur Kawang here I come.

The father's eyes

This teenager lived alone with his father, and the two of them had a very special relationship. Even though the son was always on the bench, his father was always in the stands cheering. He never missed a game. This young man was still the smallest of the class when he entered high school. But his father continued to encourage him but also made it very clear that he did not have to play football if he didn't want to.

But the young man loved football and decided to hang in there. He was determined to try his best at every practice, and perhaps he'd get to play when he became a senior. All through high school he never missed a practice nor a game, but remained a bench warmer all four years. His faithful father was always in the stands, always with words of encouragement for him.

When the young man went to college, he decided to try out for the football team as a "walk-on." Everyone was sure he could never make the cut, but he did. The coach admitted that he kept him on the roste because he always puts his heart and soul into every practice, and at the same time, provided the other members with the spirit and hustle they badly needed. The news that he had survived the cut thrilled him so much that he rushed to the nearest phone and called his father. His father shared his excitement and was sent season tickets for all the college games.

This persistent young athlete never missed practice during his four years at college, but he never got to play in the game.It was the end of his senior football season, and as he trotted onto the practice field shortly before the big play off game, the coach met him with a telegram. The young man read the telegram and he became deathly silent. Swallowing hard, he mumbled to the coach, "My father died this morning. Is it all right if I miss practice today?" The coach put his arm gently around his shoulder and said, "Take the rest of the week off, son. And don't even plan to come back to the game on Saturday.

Saturday arrived, and the game was not going well. In the third quarter, when the team was ten points behind, a silent young man quietly slipped into the empty locker room and put on his football gear. As he ran onto the sidelines, the coach and his players were astounded to see their faithful teammate back so soon."Coach, please let me play. I've just got to play today," said the young man. The coach pretended not to hear him. There was no way he wanted his worst player in this close playoff game. But the young man persisted, and finally feeling sorry for the kid, the coach gave in. "All right," he said."You can go in."

Before long, the coach, the players and everyone in the stands could not believe their eyes. This little unknown, who had never played before was doing everything right. The opposing team could not stop him. He ran, he passed, blocked and tackled like a star. His team began to triumph. The score was soon tied. In the closing seconds of the game, this kid intercepted a pass and ran all the way for the winning touchdown.

The fans broke loose. His teammates hoisted him onto their shoulders. Such cheering you've never heard! Finally, after the stands had emptied and the team had showered and left the locker room, the coach noticed that the young man was sitting quietly in the corner all alone. The coach came to him and said, "Kid, I can't believe it. You were fantastic! Tell me what got into you? How did you do it?"

He looked at the coach, with tears in his eyes, and said, "Well, you knew my dad died, but did you know that my dad was blind?" The young man swallowed hard and forced a smile, "Dad came to all my games, but today was the first time he could see me play, and I wanted to show him I could do it!"

Better than Saying “I Love You”

Ryan woke up at with a huge hangover.

He forced himself to open his eyes and the first thing he saw were two tablets of aspirins and a glass of water on the side table.

He sat down and saw his clothing in front of him… all cleaned and pressed.

Ryan looked around the room and noticed that it was in a perfect order, spotless and clean. So was the rest of the house.

He took the aspirins and under it was a note obviously from his wife.

It said:

                              Honey,

Breakfast is on the stove, I left early to go shopping

I love you

Scratching his head, he went to the kitchen and sure enough there was hot breakfast waiting for him and the morning newspaper.

His son was at the dining table eating a bowl of cereals with milk.

Ryan asked him, ” What happened last night?”

His son said, “Well, you came home after 3 a.m. drunk and delirious. You broke some furniture, puked in the hallway and gave yourself a black eye when you stumbled into the door.”

Confused, Ryan asked, “So, why is everything in order and so clean, and breakfast is on the table waiting for me?”

His son replied, “Oh that!…. well…. Mom dragged you to the bedroom and when she tried to take your pants off…. you said:

“Hey lady, leave me alone, I’m married!”

P/S: It's better than saying I love you because your act determine the outcome of relationship. Trust makes relationship longer..

Simple Equation of Life

I have come to know about a marvellous equation and I want to share it with you all.

The equation, I’m talking about is as follows –

E + R = O

Where, E stands for external experiences of our lives,
R defines the responsiveness or the reaction of the person who is experiencing the situations, and
O stands for the outcome.

So, what’s the actual message of this equation?

I explain. The outcome of any situation or incident you face in your life that is totally dependent on your thinking pattern or your thought process or the responsiveness to that situation. So, from this very moment what incidents you will face, make it sure that always react positively and find opportunity in every situation.

“It’s not what’s happening to you now or what has happened in your past that determines who you become. Rather it’s your decisions about what to focus on, what things mean to you and what you are going to do about them that will determine your ultimate destiny.”

The trouble with girls

The trouble with girls is they're a mystery
Something about em puzzles me
Spent my whole life trying to figure out
Just what them girls are all about

The trouble with girls is they're so damn pretty
Everything about them does somethin' to me
But I guess that's the way it's supposed to be

[Chorus]
They smile that smile
They bat those eyes
They steal you with hello
They kill you with goodbye

They hook you with one touch
And you can't break free
Yeah the trouble with girls
Is nobody loves trouble much as me

They're sugar and spice and angel wings
Hell on wheels in tight blue jeans
A Summer night down by the lake
An old memory that you can't shake

They're hard to find yet there's so many of em
The way that you hate that you already love em
I guess that's the way it's supposed to be

[Chorus]
They smile that smile
They bat those eyes
They steal you with hello
They kill you with goodbye

They hook you with one touch
And you can't break free
Yeah the trouble with girls
Is nobody loves trouble much as me

The way they hold you out on the dance floor
The way they ride in the middle of your truck
The way they give you a kiss at the front door
Leave you wishing you coulda gone up

And just as you walk away
You hear that sweet voice say
Stay

[Chorus]
They smile that smile
They bat those eyes
They steal you with hello
They kill you with goodbye

They're the perfect drug
And I can't break free
Yeah the trouble with girls
Is nobody loves trouble much as me

It’s the best I could do for you

An old man lived alone in Minnesota. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his situation:

Dear Son,

I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won’t be able to plant my potato garden this year. I hate to miss doing the garden because your mother always loved planting time. I’m just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me, if you weren’t in prison.

Love,
Dad

Shortly, the old man received this telegram: ‘For Heaven’s sake, Dad, don’t dig up the garden!! That’s where I buried the GUNS!!’

At 4 a.m. the next morning, a dozen FBI agents and local police officers showed up and dug up the entire garden without finding any guns.

Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what had happened, and asked him what to do next.

His son’s reply was: ‘Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Dad. It’s the best I could do for you, from here.’

P/S: No matter where you are in the world, if you have decided to do something deep from your heart, you can do it. It is the thought that matters, not where you are or where the person is.

Can I buy an hour of your time?

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'

DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.

SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.

SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'

SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.

SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'

The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think:

Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.

'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.

'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.'

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.

The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.

The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.

'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.

'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

P/S: It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love.

A Glass of Milk – Paid In Full

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked, “How much do I owe you?” “You don’t owe me anything,” she replied. “Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness.” He said, “Then I thank you from my heart.”

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Year’s later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor’s gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to the case.

After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill. She began to read the following words:

“Paid in full with one glass of milk”

Signed, Dr. Howard Kelly.

If you love me

If you love me ...
do not tell me yet,
let the charm
continue playing the moment
of shared time.

If you love me ...
do not tell me yet,
I still enjoy
the silence of your love.

If you love me ...
do not tell me yet,
let your eyes do
and that reflect your soul
and what inhabits within it.

If you love me...
shout to the wind
to stir the fire
light the flame
give us life.

If I want ...
do not tell me yet,
the time will
turning off the heat,
to hide the desire,
to transform the feeling.

P/S: I will wait for you.

Daddy’s Little Girl

Her hair up in a pony tail, her favorite dress tied with a bow. Today was Daddy’s Day at school, and she couldn’t wait to go. But her mommy tried to tell her, that she probably should stay home. Why the kids might not understand, if she went to school alone. But she was not afraid; she knew just what to say. What to tell her classmates,on the Daddy’s Day. But still her mommy worried, For her to face this day alone. And that was why once again, she tried to keep her daughter home. But the little girl went to school, eager to tell them all. About a dad she never sees, a dad who never calls.

There were daddies along the wall in back for everyone to meet. Children squirming impatiently, anxious in their seats. One by one the teacher called, a student from the class. To introduce their daddy as seconds slowly passed. At last the teacher called her name, every child turned to stare. Each of them were searching, a man who wasn’t there. “Where’s her daddy at?” she heard a boy call out. “She probably doesn’t have one,” another student dared to shout. And from somewhere near the back, she heard a daddy say. “Looks like another deadbeat dad, too busy to waste his day.” The words did not offend her, as she smiled at her friends. And looked back at her teacher, who told her to begin. And with hands behind her back, slowly she began to speak. And out from the mouth of a child, came words incredibly unique.

“My Daddy couldn’t be here, because he lives so far away. But I know he wishes he could, be with me on this day.” “And though you cannot meet him, I wanted you to know. All about my Daddy, And how much he loves me so.” “He loved to tell me stories, he taught me to ride my bike. He surprised me with pink roses and taught me to fly a kite.” “We used to share fudge sundaes, and ice cream in a cone. And though you cannot see him, I’m not standing here alone.” “Cause my Daddy’s always with me, even though we are far apart. I know because he told me, he’ll forever be here in my heart.” With that her little hand reached up, and lay across her chest. Feeling her own heartbeat, beneath her favorite dress. And from some where in the crowd of dads, her mother stood in tears. Proudly watching her daughter, who was wise beyond her years

For she stood up for the love, of a man not in her life. Doing what was best for her, doing what was right. And when she dropped her hand back down, staring straight into the crowd. She finished with a voice so soft, but its message clear and loud. “I love my Daddy very much, he’s my shining star. And he’d be here if he could, but heavens much to far.” “Sometimes when I close my eyes, it’s like he never went away.” And then she closed her eyes, and she saw him there that day. And to her mother’s amazement, she witnessed with surprise.

A room full of Daddies and Children, all starting to close their eyes. Who knows what they saw before them, who knows what they felt inside. Perhaps for merely a second, they saw him at her side. “I know you’re with me Daddy,” to the silence she called out. And what happened next made believers, of those once filled with doubt. Not one in that room could explain it, for each of their eyes had been closed. But there placed on her desk, was a beautiful pink rose. And a child was blessed, if only for a moment, by the love of her shining bright star. And given the gift of believing that, Heaven is never too far.

Smiles are contagious

Smiles are contagious, so let your smile change the world... but don't let the world change your smile.

Absolutely, wake up everyday with a smile if someone tries to take that away from you - take yourself away from them. I did - no regrets and still smiling!

Keep smiling! We have much to smile about...

A beautiful true love story

One day, a young guy and a young girl fell in love.

But the guy came from a poor family. The girl’s parents weren’t too happy.

So the young man decided not only to court the girl but to court her parents as well. In time, the parents saw that he was a good man and was worthy of their daughter’s hand.

But there was another problem: The man was a soldier. Soon, war broke out and he was being sent overseas for a year. The week before he left, the man knelt on his knee and asked his lady love, “Will you marry me?” She wiped a tear, said yes, and they were engaged. They agreed that when he got back in one year, they would get married.

But tragedy struck. A few days after he left, the girl had a major vehicular accident. It was a head-on collision.

When she woke up in the hospital, she saw her father and mother crying. Immediately, she knew there was something wrong.

She later found out that she suffered brain injury. The part of her brain that controlled her face muscles was damaged. Her once lovely face was now disfigured. She cried as she saw herself in the mirror. “Yesterday, I was beautiful. Today, I’m a monster.” Her body was also covered with so many ugly wounds.

Right there and then, she decided to release her fiancé from their promise. She knew he wouldn’t want her anymore. She would forget about him and never see him again.

For one year, the soldier wrote many letters—but she wouldn’t answer. He phoned her many times but she wouldn’t return her calls.

But after one year, the mother walked into her room and announced, “He’s back from the war.”

The girl shouted, “No! Please don’t tell him about me. Don’t tell him I’m here!”

The mother said, “He’s getting married,” and handed her a wedding invitation.

The girl’s heart sank. She knew she still loved him—but she had to forget him now.

With great sadness, she opened the wedding invitation.

And then she saw her name on it!

Confused, she asked, “What is this?”

That was when the young man entered her room with a bouquet of flowers. He knelt beside her and asked, “Will you marry me?”

The girl covered her face with her hands and said, “I’m ugly!”

The man said, “Without your permission, your mother sent me your photos. When I saw your photos, I realized that nothing has changed. You’re still the person I fell in love. You’re still as beautiful as ever. Because I love you!

P/S: He did not fall in love with the face but fell in love with that person and her inner beauty. It's the way the world should be. Feel for everyone and be there for your loved ones when they need you the most.

Learn to move on

A wise man once sat in the audience and cracked a joke.

All laughed like crazy. After a moment he cracked the same joke again and a little less people laughed this time.

He cracked the same joke again and again, when there was no laughter in the crowd, he smiled and said,

“When you can’t laugh on the same joke again and again, then why do you keep crying over the same thing over and over again”

‘Learn to move on’…

Cheers and Have A Nice Day!!!!

P/S: It's not really just for me but anyone out there. Learn to move on when something doesn't suit you well. Don't waste your time to something that really not yours anymore.

Faith, Trust and Hope

Once, all villagers decided to pray for rain, on the day of prayer all people gathered and only one boy came with an umbrella.

"THAT'S FAITH"

Example of the feeling of a one year old baby. When you throw him in the air, he laughs because he knows you will catch him.

"THAT'S TRUST"

Every night we go to bed, we have no assurance to wake up alive the next morning but still we set alarm for tomorrow.

"THAT'S HOPE"

Take me fishing

Hey. Do you know how to fish? I do. But I'm still learning. I'm noob. This activity was really... really killing me and also test my patience. But fishing was not the only thing we do. We did setup a place for our dinner. Doesn't ring any bell? That is Barbeque time. Simple but enjoy. That's the thing that we really want. Stop with talking or writing. Take a look at the picture that I already capture using my cam.

From afternoon to mid-night. Start with fishing and nicely closed by fishing also but in different place or spot. This was a good experience for me. Next time, take me fishing again. Just for fun.
